The longboard locks are constructed using zinc alloy, supplied with a PVC plastic coated 6mm width, 2m length, galvanised steel marine cable lanyard, so it isn't going to rust. Likewise the universal locks use a 2m PVC coated steel cable. The steel marine cable is used in shipping and has a massive breaking strain, so its going to hold your surfboard! LONGBOARDS - Approx 30 seconds to fit!

	Step 1 Remove fin from fin box. (much easier with an adjustable Northcore Fin Bolt). The fin box provides the strongest anchor point on your board and this design utilizes all of that strength. Removing the fin is also an additional security measure as it prevents theft of what is another valuable piece of equipment.
	Step 2 Slide the Lock jaws into the box and push together
	Step 3 Loop the lanyard around something immovable- a roof bar, through the car door and around the steering wheel, through an alloy wheel etc. Then thread the padlock through the lockjaw hole and secure the lanyard.
	Job done !

UNIVERSAL SURFBOARD LOCK - Approx 30 seconds to fit!

This Lockjaw system is designed as a solution to travelling with a board, which works with any surfboard fitted with a leash plug, so it will secure all boards including custom, NSP, Bic, Surftech etc. Step 1 Pass the lanyard around whichever secure anchor point you have chosen i.e. A fixed car roofbar, then pass one end of the lanyard loop through the opposite loop Step 2 Pinch together the uncoated steel loop at one end of the lanyard and slide it under and through the leash plug bar. Pull the steel loop through and attach the padlock. Done!
